Our last week in the UK comprised of mainly preparing the house for our year away and deciding what to take and what to leave. We were also constantly being asked if we are excited? A question that’s extremely difficult to answer when you have no idea what’s ahead of you. Of course we always answered yes, but it only really hit us when we arrived in India.

Our last few days at home seemed to last an age, and we were definitely ready to get going. On our last day we took care of the final necessities which obviously included going for a last drink at a local pub, and feeding the ducks.

One thing we discovered before we even left the house is that these bags are heavy!
